A few things to know before you bring home a piece of art.

Original, one of a kind

Every painting on this site is an original, made by hand, with no exact duplicate. Because it's painted and not printed, you may notice small variations from the photos online, brushstrokes, texture, tiny imperfections. Those aren't flaws. They're proof a real hand made it.

If a piece is marked as an "Original," it means exactly one exists. It will never be reproduced as another original. It may later be offered as a print, but the print will never be sold or represented as the original work.

Prints

Prints are high quality reproductions of original paintings, made in limited or open runs depending on the piece. A few things to keep in mind:

~ prints are for personal use and display only ~ they may not be resold, reproduced, rescanned, or used commercially without written permission ~ colors may vary slightly from the original due to screen and printing differences ~ each print may include a small signature or watermark as part of the piece; this is not a defect

All artwork, images, and designs remain the copyright of Art by Shraddha. Purchasing a piece, original or print, means you're bringing home the physical object, not the rights to reproduce it.

Shipping and drying time

Original paintings need time to cure before they travel. Depending on the medium, that can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. If a piece needs extra drying time before it ships, I'll always let you know rather than rush it out the door.

Once packed, artwork is wrapped carefully to protect it in transit, but shipping is unpredictable and delays can happen, especially with weather or customs. I'll share tracking as soon as it's available and I'm always reachable if you're wondering where your piece is.

Returns, refunds, and damage

Because each original is one of a kind and made with care, all sales on originals are final. I want you to love what you bring home, so if you have questions about a piece before buying, ask away, I'm happy to share more photos or details.

If your piece arrives damaged in transit:

~ please keep all original packaging and take photos as soon as you open it ~ reach out within 5 days of delivery ~ I'll work with you on a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the situation

Prints follow the same damage policy above. If a print arrives with a printing error or defect unrelated to shipping, I'll replace it at no cost.
